Asimov’s description of human fears niite spot on and hooked me in. This makes us see how ignorant we can be in such situations but we have nothing to do about it. I subtracted a star because I cannot believe that a world that far in the future would asimog without artificial lights.

Throughout the story we see how pointless their fright of the night is. During this nervous wait for their apocalypse, all the characters face the thrilling reality of soon to come darkness which they have n Imagine a planet, where no one saw darkness before, how terriyfing it would be for them to be left out in complete darkness?
